Reformation v. Roman Catholic Views The Everlasting Righteousness by Horatius Bonar is an excellent study on the Biblical doctrine of justification. This is the single most helpful treatment of salvation that I have ever read (although John Murray's modern work "Redemption: Accomplished and Applied" is only a whisker behind it). I confess my indebtedness to Pastor Bonar for this wonderful little book. More of Bonar's work may be found on our Classics page. The Reign of Grace by Abraham Booth is worthy of your consideration. Pastor Booth asks the question "How does grace reign?" from several useful and practical angles.
